As soon as I picked up my first serious camera, I knew that I wanted to use it to photograph people doing once-in-a-lifetime activities. To that end, I have spent the past decade photographing and video recording sporting and other live events. I love the thrill and pressure of capturing moments that can never be repeated or duplicated. My past work has included multimedia coverage of world championship boxing, NCAA football & basketball, professional basketball, and numerous corporate and non-profit organization events. I also write and teach on the history and politics of sports in America at Rutgers University which gives me a wealth of knowledge from which to draw when trying to understand and capture the full context of the sporting events which I cover. My photography work has been used by ESPN, NBC, Sports Illustrated, The Wall Street Journal, and numerous international media outlets.
